Is just a U.S. license ok to use when renting a car in Aruba, or do would you need an international license? I know all you need is a U.S. license in Jamaica, but I don't know if the same goes for Aruba. Any help? Any driving tips would be helpful too! Thanks!

yes, a US license is fine. Aruba has no "motorcycle" license requirement so you can rent a Harley while on the island too. They drive on the same side as we do. No right turn on red. A lot of one-way streets in down town Orangestadt. Be sure to pick up a map from your car rental company, it has the rules of the road and tells you what the signs mean. You can also find road rules on the hotel's tv channel.

Yes the US license would be enough, and in Aruba they drive on the right side of the road not the left like you would be accuston to in USA so just be careful and enjoy!

yes you'll be fine with a regular US license in Aruba AS LONG AS you're 21.

Not to worry...they'll give you a map at the rental place and there's only one road you'll be taking anyway to start. As soon as you exit the airport the rentals are across the driveway. Leaving the airport, you'll take a left...that's it follow the road til you get to the end of the island. Bear right, you're at Tierra del Sol. The island isn't that big and whichever road you end up on you always stray back to the main road
